I am so sorry! I love Ground Force! It would have been so great to see them do a tiki garden! I do wish Charlie would put on a bra and tie her hair back. |

Aw, I can't say anything against Charlie, I don't like to garden with a bra on either. The biggest disappointment is, I was so looking forward to kissing Tommy, he's such a doll! |

Charlie should always swing free, she's a big hit with my dad and father in-law. |

Does it get below freezing in N.O. ? It never has here in Key West, but it certainly does in mainland FL. |

It occasionally dips below freezing, but it's not usually sustained. Nothing that can't be managed with a few blankets. Thing is I already have a lot of tropicals. My hibiscus (hibisci?) are in pots so I can pull them inside if I need to, but usually I just cover them. Same with my tibouchina and bromeliads. Also, bird-of paradise, yellow ginger, bouganvilla, palmetto, elephant ears, etc. all do fine here. I think there are enough hardy tropicals to do it, I know a lot of people have tropical gardens here. |
