CA crazy al Tiki Socialite CA Joined: Jun 25, 2002 Posts: 1876	CA crazy al Posted posted on Wed, Dec 3, 2008 1:06 PM pics on return to LA... i told the owner that his fine new bar was just teetering on something great... then i had the Mai Tai!! consider the scale tipped!! i told him! damn! FI finally has a rival... best part of coming up early was seeing the Bartender training with verbal and written quizzes!! as well as the taste test that gave me my first Mai Tai!!!!!! then, Last Night... Mai Tai, Zombie, Bora Bora Blast (new Vegas style Energy Drink... complex and yummy) and another new one that i don't remember for some reason.... all were tart and delicious. Helped my Bumper Pool play tremendously (There are many choicese, lots for the sweet toothers too.).... I'm not sure if the next two nights will live up to this first one... I'm cutting myself off at two drinks....... an hour..... Buz-master has a proud display of his very fine work... nice! good to see him out off the park.

I still consider myself a noob, but having a piece in an esablishment that's an "official" tiki joint sort of gives you a sense of validation. If the place lasts longer than most of the casinos do, when we're dead and gone, our kids will be showing our grandkids what grandpa did. And Danny, you should have heard the jokes flying when I was carving that thing.....especially when I was shaping the tip of the squid.
