Aloha! Chicago's been "nice" until yesterday, 5-8" of white stuff and down to 15 F overnight.

Makes y' want to think about tropics or at least the demi tropics of one's own Tiki hideaway. And inspire one to take a chisel to that piece of tree branch in the garage. Have fun!

I really like how the wood at the core is darker and shows up when you carve so deeply. He has a very ghost like quality. Good job, Wendy

and I just saw on the post that I will be trading my Pele piece to Mad Dog himself.
I get his awesome volcano mosaic table...

MOST OF THE PAINT WAS GONE
SO I BROUGHT IT BACK TO LIFE
I USED ACRYLIC PAINT,
SO IT WILL JUST LIVE ON A SHELF.
SINCE IT WILL LIKELY JUST WASH OFF...

You know you have to drink some sort of Grog out of the GROG coconut. Navy Grog, Captains Grog, Coffee Grog, or just straight Grog. :wink:

This one took forever...

Wow! Those were really great designs! My brother and I are planning to created this tiki face too. But I was wondering if this will be easy for us? We really want to have one in our backyard. We want to create a tropical atmosphere in it. And we believe that this is one of the ways. We already have tiki torches around which we got from http://www.buytikitorches.com and we think that having this one will make it better.

Do you think we can do it? By the way, I am 21 and brother is 19.
