Well into my eleventh year of tiki carving now... picked up a chisel in the late winter of 2000 and never stopped. I've had the pleasure of sharing my art with people throughout the world, at tiki events all over the country and at tiki bars and restaurants throughout the country. The most rewarding thing about it all is the wealth of knowledge I've gained in carving skill, history lessons and the friends I've made along the way. I'd like to share just a small sample of the variety of the work that I've done through the years. Mahalo to everyone for your wonderful support, and I'll try and keep this updated with new work. Thank you Woody, I really appreciate your kind compliments! The Abelam board is something I have wanted to do for a while, and yes, after a few hours in I realized how much painting was going to be involved. It's all fun though, from the carving to the painting. I love watching it all evolve. |
