What's the name of your home tiki bar or tiki space?

I have a stand alone tiki bar just outside my patio. There is also a stand alone "thatched" bamboo cabana at the other end of our pool. A seating area, two serparate dining areas (7 grandchildren) with an 8' bar in the planning stage are located in the patio (17' x37"). The whole shebang is CeCe and my "Happy Talk Lounge". Pix will follow whenever I get almost done. Everybody knows these things are eternal works in progress. And yes, our inspiration for the name was the Happy Talk Lounge at The Bali Hai in Princeville.
Cheers

Here inland there aren't too many local spots to enjoy so I created "The Green Spider Lounge". It's actually comprised of a Lounge and Casino connected via my workshop to a Barroom. I will post pics as soon as I get done painting. Ben will throw rocks at me if he gets a gander at my (currently) white walls.

"The Boom Boom Room", it just kinda stuck. It may not be that tiki, but it souinds "exotic" enough, and has some history. But now that the Standard in NY uses the name, I may need to re-name it.

The Boom Boom Room was a famous & well known Gay Bar in Laguna Beach, Calif.

Just found that out. After I posted here I googled it. That works.
Guess it's in high demand, blues clubs, lounges, but my favorite...it's the name of a play about a bi-sexual go-go dancer set in the 60's!
Guess I should research the next name if I change it.

It is also the name of a strip club here in the Portland metro area.

And the saga continues, I just found out that it's the name of the club in the Fontainebleu on "Surfside Six"! Surprised nobody mentioned that :)
Now, was it a real club, or only in the TV show? Forget that, in looking around it seems that it was an actual club in the hotel.

Which also led me to find out that it's the name of the in-home bars for Rob Zombie, Mariah Carey and Fieldy (whoever that is). Thanks MTV "Cribs".

I am slowly and selectively building out The Room of Great Adventure! I don't call it a tiki room, because that's a little limiting; I'm picking up what I consider interesting artifacts in my travels, and finding places to put them. The room itself is entirely (walls and ceiling) a sort of deep orange clay, with all black trim. The closet doors are removed, and in closet are black shelves filled with all different kinds of baskets. I have a Tommy Bahama desk and etagere, which holds all my prized tiki mugs.
Recently I picked up something I've coveted for quite a while; an actual boat made into a bookshelf. This beauty is possibly Indonesian, and it's all teak, and all beat up (oh yeah). If I got this picture loading thing right, you can see it here.

Suggestions and comments truly welcome.

I stumbled across this thread. It seems worth a bump up. Some great spaces listed here.

I posted the name 0f my tiki space (Happy Talk Lounge) back on 9-26-2012. I’m almost done with the permanant tiki bar that I have since added. The name of the new bar will be “the Sharkbite Bar”

Cheers

We have two names for our home tiki bar:

The nautical themed corner where the actual bar resides is "The Barnacle Bar" and it resides inside the fabulous (well, I think so anyway) "Sneaki Tiki Lounge."

I will get some pictures together soon, and as long as they look at least half as good as some of the ones I see here at TC, I'll post them up.

Aloha!

we re-named our soon to be complete outside tiki space as "Sirens & Sailors Saloon" since the GF loves Mermaids and it has a nautical theme, but that's only one of the many areas that we have in the works! we also have the Jungle Cruise lounge and........

I love that Name and Logo!!!

We are The Lucky Star Tiki Bar.

I am loving all the names here.

My “Shark Bite” Bar has been in full operation since just before Tiki Oasis 14. I’ve yet to post pix cuz T O 14 took quite a toll on my Sony SLR. Coming soon!
Cheers

Get those pics up, David!

I've finally settled on the name for my tiki lounge-in-progress: The Forbidden Vindaloo Lava Lounge. And yes, there will be a volcano!

I post this at the risk of ridicule.....I introduce to you the "Rhum Munkee Tiki Lounge". Screened in "Lanai" on the back of my house. I wrapped some of that cheap bamboo reed fencing around the inside, hung some flags from the top of the walls to cover the part the that the reed fencing didn't reach up to. Rope lighting around the circumfrance of the room. Kegerator (gasp!). There be tikis.... You can barely see Tiki Fred in the lower right corner next to the kegerator, in front of the plants and a few small tikis on top of the kegerator. You can't see it, but on the wall that the rocking chair is facing there is a 32 inch flat screen TV (double gasp!) and a small RCA internet radio/stereo.

It's probably a bit too "Buffett" for here, but I do live in Florida and it's kinda expected.

Hey Howlinowl...why not start a thread for your bar, I think it looks like a fun place. We can't all compete with the big dogs...there are some folks that just have over the top Tiki spaces and unbelievable collections. The rest of us do the best we can. I like the name of your space.

My bar is named The Ki'o Wai Lounge. Its situated next to the pool in our backyard.

And one more ...

Hello! We're just beginning to transform our library/music room space into the home tiki bar of my dreams. But we thought the first thing we should do was give the new baby a name. So as of today, we have officially christened it the Hokulani Lounge. Complete with its own Facebook page! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hokulani-Lounge/1110336148981097?sk=timeline
