You read about it, you heard about it, but never in your wildest dreams did you believe it to be true. But there it will be in two days staring you square in the eye. The Enchanted Tiki Lounge, home of the Rongo Rumgria Cocktail, is about to be unveiled in the Great Mojave Desert.

Yes, it is true that Disneyland aficionados are in an uproar that their beloved attraction has been closed for the last several days. Of course Disney lawyers are on the warpath and issuing injunctions and cease & desist orders in every direction and threatening major lawsuits. And yes the rumors are true that Walt Disney himself has actually turned over in his cryogenic freeze box over these recent events. But rest assured that Walt will sit up, take notice, smile, and probably shed a frozen teardrop or two over this new twist to his timeless and cherished Tiki Room.

Come one, come all to this Tropical Tiki Paradise that will grace the arid Mojave Desert this weekend. Come taste the most delicious and fruity cocktail that mankind will ever witness. Rongo’s Rumgria, the alcoholic libation that will tantalize taste buds, will be making its heralded debut this Saturday during the Mojave Oasis Tent & Trailer Crawl.

Come enjoy the drink that has helped cause all the uproar and media frenzy.

Rongo’s Rumgria available this Saturday only at Rum Dog’s Enchanted Tiki Lounge during the Mojave Oasis Tent & Trailer crawl.

.

Rum Dog,

Looking forward to the Enchanted Tiki Lounge and the Rongo Rumgria.

Be sure to stop by the Mo-Tiki and try a little of my Mojave Cooler.

Can't wait to hit to road bright and early in the morning. Remember, Coachella starts tomorrow so traffic can be tough!

Home and a little tired. A quick thank you to Amy and the Mojave Ohana for always making this a unique and fun weekender. Val and I had a great time, as we always do.

More of a recap and more photos to come. And how about the weather this year? Darn near perfect.

kevin

Kevin,

Yes, great weather, maybe a tad chilly over night.
Thanks for the pix. And thanks to all for the kudos on
Bringing the New Waves for the entertainment.
I was blown away by everybody's reaction to them.

This event keeps getting better and better.

Thank you Ray & Amy for allowing all of us tiki faithful to come romp and play on your Tiki Wonderland.

Special thanks to the ladies on trailer row who prevented me from starving Friday afternoon. I truly appreciated that.

Jeff great job setting the mood all weekend and thanks for not leaving too early on Sunday. Hearing the the tunes while breaking down my campsite helped me get through that drudgery.

Need to start to think of a theme for next year.

I will post some pictures this weekend.

heylownine and Dustycajon, thank you both so much for the photos. It's hard to miss events and seeing photos makes it so much better. Cheers, Wendy

I second that!

RD

Tom you were missed.
Wendy, you and Dan need to get this event on your calendar.

Rum Dog's Enchanted Tiki Lounge
