So in my tiki bar I have a “Rapa Nui” cabinet that holds quite a few items, imagine that. Didn’t like the plain drawer pulls and door pulls so I thought I’d start making my own: Mango Moais and an alligator juniper Birdman: Still have two more to go! |

Ok So I wanted a walking stick, or 4 The first one I made was from a piece of eucalyptus, I trimmed my neighbors tree and kept a few branches: Green mamba Next was an old fence post I had in my garage, I think it’s pine, this one I wanted a coral snake winding in and out of a piece of Cholla cactus wood: One day on a walk, I found this stick on the side of the road, thought it would make a perfect black mamba: Lastly a piece of ash, they recently cut a tree down in a park by my house and I was lucky enough to obtain all the wood, I wanted to try my hand at painting so I went with a copperhead snake: The gang: (Inspiration and tips for the walking sticks obtained from Carver/painter Mike Stinnett.) PS- did I mention the snake scales took me about an hour an inch to burn in. I think it was about 100 hours per stick! Lol [ Edited by hang10tiki on 2022-03-21 07:15:54 ] |

That's an over-the-top spectacular multi-tiki work of art. Each little tiki has a personality. It's fun to look at all of your pages and to see how you challenge yourself. This one is a master work. Every one of those hours was worth it. |
