The Lucite Wall in Kelbo's, Los Angeles

R

A huge thank you to everybody who's posted Kelbos photos.

My buddies & I used to go to Kelbos while in high school and college back in the mid-late 70s. We used to get gloriously tipsy on what looked like a gallon of Flaming Zombos in a giant clamshell. I had my wedding rehersal dinner in the Coco Bowl in '91.

My wife & I moved to Atlanta in '92 & a few years later on a visit back to LA discovered Kelbos had been raped, descecrated, violated... words fail me. Somebody deserves to burn in hell. (If you want to go to a strip club, you go to the Wild Goose down at the airport - you heathens!)

But it does my heart good to know part of the kitsch has survived. Please, post more photos people.
