Disney Tiki Room Poster

I picked up this poster on my last trip to Orlando when I was in Downtown Disney. It is by artist Randy Souders and is entitled "Tropical Serendade" -- which I did not know was the title of the show at the Enchanted Tiki Room. I got the poster for $25 at the art strore in Downtown Disney. But you can purchase an 8x10 on his ebay store for $10. There is a larger sized "artist proof" available from his site for a few hundred bucks. I'm putting the poster in my daughter's tiki themed room.

Yep, I bought one too a couple of weeks ago at the Disney Gallery in Epcot for about $25. I was browsing around the room when I heard my son say "Oh DAAaaaad... we found something over here you're gonna like!". Sure enough I had to have it. The saleslady said it was the last one they had. But she also showed me the signed and numbered one they had for sale. I, of course, drooled all over it, but decided to pass since it was (I think) $150 and it was just after Christmas. I'm going to wait for a while to get a nice frame for it.

How strange that everything is stylized except for Mickey, Donald, and Goofy.

And yes, the Tiki Room at WDW was known as "The Tropical Serenade" when it opened.
