Bongo Drums

Picked up a pair(?)of vintage '70's bongo drums today. They're metalflake gold and in good shape except for a broken head. I'm a bass player and have no idea how to change a bongo drum head (but I'm a quick study). If anybody has any advice I'd be willing to hear it.

Bongo heads are a completely different animal than regular drum heads. So it helps to have someone with lots of experience do it.
I would recommend if you are ever in the Hollywood area - the folks at Pro Drum Shop (on Vine Street just north of Melrose) could definitely help you out.
