State College PA, Penn State

Hello,

I will be travelling to State College Pa/ Penn State on Monday for a meeting. I am not too hopeful, but, is there anything even remotely Tiki there?
I would settle for a decent Chinese restaurant with ok drinks...mugs a plus of course. Please let me know soon since I am going on Monday.

I went to school there in the 80's.

I don't recall anything, but also, I didn't get out of downtown much. And way back then, I was more into punk and goth stuff than tiki.

But I wouldn't get your hopes up too much.

Be sure to have a sticky bun at Ye Olde College Diner.

Graduated from PSU in 2003. The State College area's only real tiki affiliation is that Rick (of Kaiserpenguin.com fame) resides there. For upscale Chinese food, check out Golden Wok on College Ave. near Atherton St. I don't believe they have a liquor license, though.
