If you can't make it to Easter Island, the Polynesian Cultural Center has an Easter Island display, carved by a Rapa Nui, to tide you over.

Thanks for the link Chris....since I am pretty new, I never knew all that information about Easter Island. I knew about the statues but not the history. Interesting that only 35 have been uprighted out of so many. Hope the ones lying down are getting a nice view of the sky and not eatin' dirt. :D
