While perusing the internet I stumbled upon a place in Rye, NY called Pier Restaurant and Tiki Bar.
It looks as though they favor the Tiki Modern cover art.

Biergartens and wurst restaurants are a funny trend to have in LA, but there are so many popping up that's what I would call it.

That cover art (also based on a vintage menu, forget which one) is the only Tiki thing about that place.

It makes me mad when a place claims they serve Tiki drinks and not one true "Polynesian" Tropical cocktail is to be found, not even a Mai Tai !!!
