I saw you wearing Trader Joes Bag Board shorts Each TJ's gets a lot of leeway as to what art gets on the walls & signs, and I think they hire artists local to the store locations, too, so you probably won't see a sign like that. I have seen closely related signs turn up half a continent away, so the corporate offices may send out semi-official clip art books, but I don't know anyone who works there to ask(I used to see Joe in the Pasadena store, but I only knew him to say "Hi, I really liked the Macadamia-Cashew Butter.").

Kudos to Kate! You got those antennas out and the radar up! Trader Joe's puts up and takes down so many signs-they're always changing.... Crazy Al is an icon to the Tiki world AND sometimes a jerk... :lol: see example below..... (he made us all arrive at the mModern show late so he could primp and preen! :lol:) The jerky has probably sold-out and the sign's probably already down.. A kooky tribute to an awesome guy and carver who needs his face out there more for people to appreciate and learn more about him! He should at least call them and get some free groceries out of it!
