My membership of the Mystic Order of the Tikiyaki that I entered into that fateful night
is actually the continuation of a long and honored tradition:

A big MAHALO to Tikiyaki, the Mayflower, all the venders, shoppers and
everyone who helped put this together! We had a blast and bought some great tiki swag!
Long live the MOT! On to the next show!

Bigbro...you were member of the Church of the Subgenius ? I always wondered what went on in that club.

You had to ask! Well, to be brief, it was your average run-of-the-mill cult, here is its philosophy in a nut shell:

It all started with BOB:

One day it just hit me like a ton of bricks!

It really was a grass roots fan club in the beginning...

...but for a young lad new to this country it was a way to CONNECT to people

...and it is said that there were some powerful members in this brotherhood

...but by the 1990s it had become too commercial, and I moved on to the next strange cult. Some say it left its imprint on me.

BOB = BOT ?

What a fun night!
I loved the Mayflower Club, such a great place to have it.
Great vendors and a FANTASTICAL performance by The Tikiyaki
Orchestra! The new songs are sooooo good!
And I was thrilled to hear "Enchanted Sea', one of my most
favorite Martin Denny songs. Never thought I would hear that live!!

Thanks M.O.T
I feel privileged to be a card carrying member!

Bigbro, I'm just a teeeeny bit scared of you right now . . .

So sorrrry. I was hoping to be amusing. :)

My extreme aversion to cult religion is only overcome by my stellar sense of humor. :)
xo, Kiki!

I second that! What a fantastic night!
The Pledge was inspired Marty, and how you could remember it after 4 of those Mai Tais is beyond me. :)

Actually I'm impressed I remember you SAYING the pledge after I sucked down three of those bad boys myself. . .
It made the shopping go MUCH easier!

Tikiyaki sounded incredible as always, (really looking forward to the new album!) and there was something magical about them playing at the Mayflower. . . like they had the blessing of lodge men past. . .
I dunno, it was just special and kinda right.

And the ceremonial Lodge hats were BANANAS you guys. . . great job.
Extra Kudos to Tiki Ray for somehow seeming perfectly at home in his Bedrock Couture.

AND the Be-Fezed Martini Kings Tony with his dapper little friend!

AND Tobunga for those awesome Moai Cookies! Mmmmmmmmoai. . . .

AND OookoLady for sharing her awesome collection and hooking a girl up!

AND my awesome Ohana Dibroc, Paula and Sabu for sharing the true Aloha spirit.

Thanks to everyone who made this night happen, and thanks to folks for posting pics!

Any chance there will be a repeat performance??? :D
