Recipe: Royal Hawaiian's "Contemporary Chi-Chi"

Here's the only other recipe I like from the August '09 Hawaii magazine feature on "Contemporary Tropicals" (see previous post on the Royal Hawaiian's "Royal Mai Tai"):

Muddle in a mixing glass:
4 to 6 basil leaves
1 chunk fresh pineapple
1 tsp brown sugar
A squeeze of lime

Top off mixing glass with ice and add:
2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz coconut cream
1 1/2 oz vodka

Shake and pour into hurricane glass. Garnish with pineapple wedge, basil leaf and Maraschino cherry.

Yeah, I know what' you're thinking...BASIL??? But it works! It's not overpowering...just a hint of it. Shaking instead of blending this drink makes it less "heavy" and sweet.
