I can't see anything in that picture, but it's probably mold/mildew that accumulates as the last of the water leaves the log. It's because it stays damp enough, long enough for the junk to thrive. It's probably happening in the deepest carved parts? Just take windex, bleach, or some toxic bacteria killing spray to get rid of it. In a couple months it will stop doing that. Try putting it in the sun, too. Also, be aware of this before you seal any future tikis of quality. That water will leech under the finish, get trapped between the finsh and log and mess it all up. Turn black, bubble up, discolor, etc. That's why I sand and finish stuff I carve a couple months later. I did have to learn that the hard way, though...
Nice table, btw.

I have that mold stuff in my shower too...
Buzzy Out!

S

That my friend is a gorgeous looking table and would look great
anywhere!

T

Buzzy you just made my day!!!
So all of my tikis need to cure for months? that just sucks
Seeksurf thanks agian for chekin in every word just motivates more!

That table is hands down, frickin' tight! Man, that would look beautiful on MY porch! Your other tiki soldiers look great too, but man, did you see that table? Keep it up man.

Question though, what did you use to paint the tikis on the table top? Artist type paintbrush with stain or was that burnished? Or, is it a secret?

T

No secrets here. I airbushed it with stian
And thanks sooo much for cheken in !!!!

T

By the way check out my earlier post
I got some of the same stian on my back fence MAHALO!!!

T

Finished up my latest and started a painting for the swap.
