Actually I meant, "having resemblance in some particulars between things otherwise unlike," thus analogous. I avoided saying he was "like" Korla Pandit for the very reason you allude to. I'm with you: the blemishes on his personal story make me not want to celebrate him in any way whatsoever. But the fact that there was a market for his "exotic" flim-flammery, and his creativity in serving that market, are interesting in my opinion.

yeah, but let's not jump to conclusions....back then, black people were blamed for a lot of crimes they did not actually commit...I don't know all the facts, of course, but that picture is great!
