Rain or shine right?!?!!?!?!?

If you are true tikiphiles , you will be there rain or shine . Ben and his wife go to a lot of trouble to make this happen and a lot of vendors have been working like crazy for you all . If this were in Hawaii you would go with no concerns . It only rains there 10 times a day . Not a lot, but it does get sprinkles . See ya there .

As the date gets closer, the weather forcast gets better.
Looks like rain may not be a problem on May 2nd.

The only problem on May 2 might be hangovers from...

Lake Surfer,

Your work is fantastic!

Do you really drive 2,399 miles over two days to come out here??? If so, that is amazing! And you come out to California several times a year? I am assuming you drive since you bring all your carvings with you. That is real dedication.

Let's keep em coming crew!
Four more Daaaaaaaaays!

Hate to disappoint, but Grace and I will be sharing a booth with Thomas.

Whatever works, Mr. Crud...u'll be fighting Matt Reece either way!!

Scrrrrrew that. I don't fight gingers. (Matt's actually a "Day Walker"). Redheads learn to fight early and I don't feel like getting the crap knocked out of me in front of my wife and kid.

If anyone wants any longboard foam blanks to paint, let me know before Sunday. I still have 4 left. 10 bucks to artists, 20 to Joe Customer.

TikiSan,

Thanks so much for your kind compliment!

Thanks to Southwest Airlines, I won't be driving this week. :)
For this weekend I am stuffing all 45 pieces in 3 suitcases and a backpack.

I try to get out to 2-3 California events a year.
I love nothing better than spending the weekend with good friends and talented artists and musicians, and that's what takes me 2,399 miles from home.

See you on Sunday?

Aaw come on Billy. I figure we can either see who has the greasiest hair or compare beer guts.

L

Lake Surfer I think you need to relocate to California.....I can only imagine what sort of pieces you could turn out at some of the chops they hold down in SoCal.

Excellent work as always!

7-footers out there this morning!
a little cold, but you gonna get some WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVES!

Here's some photos from last year's Bamboo Ben Swap meet and Hobo Village Extravaganza!

GOOD TIMEEEEEEEES!!!!

Huh? I didn't get any memo about prices, soooo
Buy stuff you want, don't buy stuff you don't want.

Simple!

Let the exploitation begin!

Lake Surfer,

Glad to hear you will be flying out. That sounds much better than driving and should be more cost efficient for you, too. I hope all your pieces make the journey safely. Yes, I will be there on Sunday. I remember seeing you at last year's garage sale at Bamboo Ben's and at Tiki Oasis and was amazed that you would come all that way.

Have a safe flight!
