fabulous, i can't understand the reporter calling it a "monstrosity" (1:15)

I tried to view it 3 times and everytime it locks up at the end of the damned Amway commercial :(

EDIT - finally got through, very cool. Bamboo Ben would be proud!

PS, the ignorance of YouTube comment posters never ceases to amaze me. They think that bamboo is an endangered species, that pandas are dying & rainbows are turning black in China because they are building a chocolate factory in Indonesia from bamboo. Pandas are dying because they have evolved into inefficient wood eating machines that don't serve any useful purpose

Be good to yourself and to the ones you love

I work in the field of sustainability, and bamboo is a great environmentally friendly product because of how quick it grows and how strong it is. In our bushland areas its actually considered a weed because of how quick it grows!

Bamboo is also used widely in SE Asia as scaffolding. I remember seeing some amazing scaffolding in Thailand when I was a kid.

All it needed was a RUM fountain...

Ben you are the first person I thought of when I first viewed this video
because I knew you could appreciate the complexity and variations they
were building this bamboo structure.

Bamboo for scaffolding ...who would of thought it was strong enough !

The Bamboo is plenty strong enough, it's the old plastic bags they lash the poles together with I don't trust.

"Jackie Chan" knows!
