Decoupage tapa cloth furniture

Pages: 1 4 replies

I have not seen this posted before.
The table is $3600 on 1stdibs.com. If someone is handy enough they could make their own.
1stdibs is a rather pricey re-sell website, you can tell that after you do a search for 'tiki', 'Hawaii' and 'Polynesian'. They do have some wonderful vintage Hawaiian dresses though.

The folding screen is $5600.

This table has been sold.

All are very cool. I would be afraid to set my cocktails down on those.

Me too! A heavy coating of varnish would hopefully seal it up tight.

I like the idea, it looks pretty nice, but I'm not crazy about the lines of the table. I feel the lines/shape of the table could work much better if it were boomerang shaped...or something.

Slacks Ferret, I agree. According to the website they were made in the early 80's. The style of the table certainly reflects that. I think a boomerang shaped table with tapa cloth would look cool.
