Aloha Y'all!
I'm in the process of creating a Tiki Themed vacation rental. I've searched for such things and there isn't much out there. I've found some beach houses that people give Tiki names but they don't have much tiki-ness. I'm trying to stay away from the kitschy stuff that tourists tend to love.
This may be the wrong place to ask the question as I'm sure everyone on here will say they would love to stay in a Tiki House. So maybe my question should be 'have you stayed in a Tiki House or does anyone rent a Tiki House that might have some advice for me. I live in Panama City Beach, and there isn't much here for the Tiki Scene.
What are your thoughts?

That would be pretty cool. If it was near a good tiki bar, even better!

Yes.
I think there is a tiki air bnb in knoxville.

I would if it looked like the room that Bamboo Ben made for Tiki Lee! (Or any of his other creations).

Holy crap!! That's amazing!! drool

That's funny that y'all picked those examples. Those pictures of that room that Bamboo Ben did served as a lot of my inspiration. And when I was coming up with this idea I showed them to my wife as what I want to do. And I lived in Folly Beach before I moved to PCB. Follynesia didn't exist when I was there, but I am friends with the guy who helped create it.
I'm getting close to being ready to share some pictures of my creation. By the end of the week, I think I can start to show how this thing is coming together.
