Got three new pieces done this weekend
cause i gotta start cranking on a top secret commission

One i actually shot some step-by-steps and stuff
so I'll save that when i get some more time...

I'll have to do a step-by-step with the tissue paper/ink technique sometime soon...

Experimentation is the key with art-pushing and mixing and blending styles
and seeing what kind of magic arises out of it...

acrylic and cel-vinyl on wood with a Bamboo Ben construction

This one was really fun as i simplified elements and played with the lighting and dimensional qualities
albeit very simply...

Here's the Volcanoes.... I like hoow it looks like they're filled with MAGMA!

and here's out little tiki fellar,wandering about,on the hunt for somethin!

and here's the second one...

acrylic and cel-vinyl on wood with a lovely Bamboo Ben frame

Here's a close-up of the face...
the background was very rough with broad brushstrokes
and then tightening up on the line-work and shading on top of that!
