Very, very cool. I love how you're thinking on your feet... the stain color changes... no worries... change the gameplan... green highlights! You're full of talent, anyone who can sway with the challenges that the tiki throws at them can do just about anything with the log. |

Again, top-notch work! Interesting that you carve from one end to another & then cut the rest off. Love the nostrils!! Smokin'! Tama |

Aloha friends, I´m fine! The last night was silent and no strange things happened. AlohaStation, surf-n-turf, benella, Benzart, McTiki, GMAN, Lake Surfer and Tamapoutini, I´m glad that you guys enjoy my the finish of the Tiki Special thanks to surf-n-turf for this amazing and cool picture of the Tiki. Benella, yes you are right! There are some similarities between Hulk and the spiky fellow. So, Gman is correct! I must get rid of him soon, before he catches my steady or all the other girls. I think Michael will has him under control, cause he is his owner. Oh, what I will do next? At this time I´m building with ramba-zamba our first Tiki mugs, which will produced by cheeky-tiki. Greetings, Haikai What a bummer! It´s happend! I didn´t warned ramba-zamba, before he vistited the closet. |

Michael "ramba zamba" is a very lucky man because he is the owner of this tiki and the owner of the previous lono too (if I'm not wrong) I think that Ramba Zamba must play to the lotery... or show his own carvings ! :tiki: Ben :tiki: |

Benella, thats a mistake. There are too many Michaels in my environment. Michael the owner of the Lono is an other guy, And at last the owner of the last Tiki (with the spikes) is Michael from Austria. Greetings, Kai |

Iorana friends, finally I find the time to drop a line. It´s my first time to post something on TC for this year. And now I want to show you some new pics of my last month work. First I grinded the box, removed the old paint, gave it some ornaments and carved a new doorknob. So, now you have seen what I did in the last time. I hope you will enjoy it. Haikai |

Holy crap that is cool, by far one of the best things I Have seen on TC. I'm still floored by the attention to detail that you have put into these boxes. Very nice carving on the outside, very creepy on the inside. |

You're a madman! What a project...I wish I had the balls (and the time) to do something so intricate and well-resolved. Truly a labour of love (and art). I have seen a few old museum fold-out cases recently that would look great tikified but the thought never crossed my mind. Hats off to you my friend. |

Woah; Talk about opening Pandoras Tiki-Box!! What a great idea, a microcosm you can shut the door on (or rather, a microcosm to be discovered upon opening a door) Let me join the list of hat-taker-off'ers... Ka pai! Tama :) |

Wonderful work! As others have said, the attention to detail on such a small scale is awesome. You had me at the front door. Then you opened it. I'll be back the rest of the week looking at these pictures again. Looking forward to the next piece, congratulations on this one! |

Everything you do really taps into the classic era poly-pop vibe Haikai. They all look like they could have stepped out of one of those vintage postcards from one of the legendary locations. Great to see this guy hanging free and proud too - more tikis need to be packin'. [ Edited by: Paipo 2007-04-18 00:47 ] |

Aloha guys! Paipo, thanks for the compliment. This time, in Bavaria the spring is very early. Last year we had at the same time lots of snow Long time ago I told you from the "tiki silver ring", which I want to create in cooperation with
In March, I carved a little pendant for my buddy Michael (ramba-zamba).
The happy guys! And at last, here are some pictures of my latest work. I figured out a tiki plaster model for a key fob,
