Not only will Bong be The Master of Ceremonies for The Burn Again this Year BUT he will also have have the New Hula Girls CDs with him too. Autographed CD's will be available for $10 to the 1st 5 people :)

Beach Hours : 6:00am-10:pm
Parking Fee: $15 per vechicle

*Bring your beach gear, ez-ups, chairs, firewood, and a dish to share
*Hot dogs, buns, condiments, & S'mores will be provided
*Bring your bikes or rent them there!

Don't forget: There will be a Prize for The Best Tiki & The Worst Tiki brought to the Burn.

might want to bring a sweatshirt too. triple digits inland but low 60's here.

Mrs Boo and I will reserve the pit closest to the State side of beach blvd at 6.am.

look for a red and white Hawaiian print sheet on the ground....

Last night at the beach in Newport it dropped to 59 degrees
I hope it gets warmer before saturday, but it would be wise to bring a jacket
not much of a summer here in orange county this year.

There are 2 fire pits at the end of the ramp at state beach now.

We're going to try to get both.

The trophies are ready! There WILL be awards for the BEST and WORST tiki creation. NO professionals please!!! Please keep your creations around 2 feet or less. Awards will be handed out right before sunset. The party is all day and the fire will be officially started when Bong Begins the Burn!!! (Again, right before sunset) The grill will fire up around 5 (or anytime someone wants to use it!)

Come PLAY all day and BURN all night!

Ughh... The plan was for one Zombie at the Tiki-Ti (Zombie Roadtrip Stop #7) and straight to the Beach Burn (and Don's for the Exotics for the 4th straight night).

Wound up sitting next to (and yacking with) Rasta Jim and having a Jim's Special after the Zombie. What happened after that? Dunno. Barely made it back to Dogtown.

Seeing some of those tikis burn was somewhat heartbreaking but...
it was cold and that fire felt good.

Sorry I missed out on the festivities. I coudn't find a ride, and then there was a toga party with my name all over it, so it was still a good saturday for me :) But I will see you all on Friday!

This was a great time....just hangin round the fire, good food, drink and ohana....awesome.

My sweatshirt still smells like smoke tho'.

I'm so bummed I didn't make it.

had some stuff pop up during the day that had to be taken car of.
Got down to HB around 7:15 pm.
realized I didn't have any change for a parking meter,
my foot was killing me, walking a few steps around to the parking meter.
(bone spur I think)
and my German friend needed to go to his vacation house rental to
ahem take car of business, In n Out burger was not treating him well.

and I didn't want to miss any of the Exotics, at Dons.
So we went strait there after, and saw some of you at Dons after the Burn.

thanks to all of you who came by, they joint was swinging.
hopefully I can make next years burn, as the last 2 were a hoot.
