Does it snow in Orange County, california?

Why yes, it does. The santa ana mountains are right now covered with more snow then I can ever remember seeing! Even the middle section of the range (Bald Peak) has a mount fuji-like covering of snow right now....and saddleback is completely white!

What? it is just wet & cold here at the beach.......

Snow in Orange County? Yea, right! Next thing you will try and tell me is that it snows on one of the Hawaiian Islands.

We do get snow in Orange County -- usually just a rare light dusting on the upper reaches of the Santa Ana Mountains. (And just to clarify, the iconic double-peak is called Old Saddleback, with the taller side being Santiago Peak and the shorter being Modjeska Peak.) That said, we haven't had a good snowfall that blanketed the whole county since 1949. So save the money you would have spent on snow shoes and go buy more Hawaiian shirts instead. (See how I brought that around to being on-topic?)

I think you were kidding King Bushwich so I'm posting this for fun.
You can snowboard on 14,000 foot Mauna Kea volcano. Instead of hitting soft vegetation or dirt you land on volcanic rock, ouch!

Well, OK, I guess Orange County, CA and the Big Island of Hawaii do get some naturally made snow.

But you will NEVER get any vog in Orange County, CA!

I remember we had air issues after the "Mount St. Helens" eruption.....sooooo.
On a different note, we had our house covered in ash several times from the California fires

I heard that is snowed in Anaheim in 1955.

It snowed 1 time in San Jose Ca. when I lived there between 73 and 81,
and I was sick and couldn't go out and play in it.
:(

KTLA News

Well, almost

We did get a little hail this morning, it melted almost immediately though
and now the sun is out, California weather, sorry rest of the country
I keep thinking of Rick "Big Kahuna" out in Boston, pretending to be a snowman.

Pack your swimsuit AND your parka.
