Been getting requests for some smaller stuff of late so here's some shots of a 12" Ku I carved yesterday, palm logs about 50" long so hope to get 4 heads out of it .Cheers

Here's a few shots of what became of the end of the palm log , I was goin to carve a small full bodied piece but ended up goin with a 2ft Lono head instead . usually I burn an sand my finished carves before stain'n but I really dug the grain an texture of this guy so I just stained him as is. And why not throw in some HULA GIRL action fom last weeks Unholy Rabble meet at the Luwow .

Sent this piece off to a mate for some jade stain and one shot signage as It will be up for Auction to raise funds to bring out the Jade Idol from Texas to play Chopped Rod and Custom Weekender .
