No, there were more on the shelf after I took my box. Maybe everyone ran over there and scoped them up before you.

No I referred mymotiki (Laura) there on Monday after Oasis and Bob had told her they sold
the last set on Friday , which would have been one of the Tiki Oasis days.
I use to buy these from same source, and they have stopped distrib. out of a company
in Canada , so I know Oceanic Arts can not get them any more as well .

Vampiress RN with all due respect, your links have nothing to due with what the thread
being discussed or the product we are trying to locate .I have to retract my last
statement, not because of Liz , but because after looking at the links again,
sure enough there is a company in San Diego selling moai lights that I did not
see before. So I will man up and say I jumped the gun on one of your links and
for that.... my apologies .

Actually Bill..Cocnutkiss started this thread to look for the moai lights...which were then found at which time the entire point of coconutkiss posting this thread had come to a close and this thread served its purpose.

Coconutkiss didn't ask about them being manufactured, or vintage vs current styles...the thread was for him/her to find the freakin lights. Hey look..he/she has them now.

Why dont you start a thread about how to get them manufactured...or who bought the last set at OA or old vs. new colors because that wasn't the topic of this thread in the beginning.

If Vamp wants to post links to other lights that have a tiki/island/hawaiian/tacky vibe WHO CARES???

The thread already served its purpose..the rest of the posts after that dont belong on here either if you want to be picky.

Good grief.

Are you the TC police now Liz .. please with your up tight negative attitude .
Are you kidding me.I am stoked she started this thread , it has helped all us
find out more about these moai lights then ever.Tipsy has been extremely helpful
with his knowledge and past projects that pertain to blow mold plastic.

I simply said "I thought the products VampiressRN listed were lame" ,with no
disrespect to her what so ever. You don't have to defend other people or get
aggro because I put my opinion in...and again it's only my opinion. The rest of
what has been talked about this topic does all tie in useful information , and
does not need another thread started. You thought the color PMP were quote un
quote "cheap looking" compared to the brown ones listed on ebay, did I slam
you for your opinion ... no.

I believe I met VampiressRN last year at Oasis.... very nice gal.Again this
was not personal, however I think you are making it that way.You are getting a
little to damn knit picky for me.Think what you want but don't go off on me on
a public forum. ...Shhhish

I have been so wanting to get back to this thread , however I have been super busy
with my insurance business.I finally received the Moai lights , and as I thought Tipsy
was correct. The ones I picked up are in supreme condition, but not the bigger ones
we talked about prior to make a cast off of.I may offer these up for sale we will see.

Just found my unused box of moai lights. I thought I lost them but they have been found. Here are some pics of the newer version for a comparison to the vintage style. These are 6 1/4" high. Not for sale though.

Hey Trav did you find those at Kohls of all places ??

UT

Hi Bill. A friend of mine got these for me about five years ago and yes on the Kohl's. Strange.

I bought these some time in the 90's at Orchard Supply Hardware.

The heads are exactly the same as the box I picked up at a flea market last weekend.

I think this will clear up any bulb confusion.

I wonder if I can find anything similar to the plastic light covers? I could add them to LED string lights.
