We're gonna do all of his hits before he can get on stage to do them.... He'd be pretty stoked about that, I'm sure.
By the way, "The Wedge Rules"

Who is the that old Ninja in the photo? Spike.

Spike, here's an idea. Have Lucas and Dinah kidnap DD as soon as he shows up at the Coach House, drive him over to the SG101 convention and force him to play there. That way the Hula Girls could play 2 sets to the Coach House crowd.

And at SG101, DD would only be allowed to perform his songs where he sings. That would really piss the Surf music crowd off.

Actually I love "Night Owl" !!

Hoot Hoot. :)

Oh, John O.

If Mr Dale sings, he needs to be introduced by Morey Amsterdam wearing a big dragon head.

YouTube: Beach Party

And someone needs to tell the surf guitar king to plug his guitar into the amp. Wireless technology did not exist back in the early Sixties.

Haha... There is a lot about the 'King of Surf' that is no longer (ahem) 1960s...

By the way, The OC Fair opens next weekend and The Hula Girls will be there at the Baja Blues Bar; Fri, Sat, and Sun from 7:30! Come kick off the fair with some hulabilly!

This is the place, if you aren't familiar with the fair... They have giant beers here too!

7:30 in the morning!!!!

Giant beers @ 7:30 in the morning!!!!

Ha! I wouldn't Pogo! Dick Dale made us all stop when he played the OC Fair eons ago....I think I was 16. It was mostly the slam dancing that was bumming his flow.
Got our tickets in a decorative envelope (nice touch, Spike)....ready to roll and rock. Get your tickets through the Hula Girls! Help those chicks out!

ALOHA!

Before The Hula Girls, there were... The Lazy Cowgirls. :)

Right Spike ??

Hi John-O!

TM

The Hula Girls are unique. The only other band (that I am aware of) that ever played this type of suped-up "Hapa Haole" was Junior Brown, who had a couple of songs early on that are basically in the same style as we do them.

And who the heck are these guys??!

RD

How about some Zombie-a-Billy? These guys would be good fit for the Tiki Highway event. One of the band members in the first video is sporting a Lucky-13 Tank top. Too bad they are from south of the equator.

Guess I have time to enter the cake eating contest now!

This weekend! Starting tonight!!

H

The Hula Girls Raising the Roof at the Baja Blues Bar...Still time to catch them Sat. and Sun, at The OC Fair

Got to see two legends in one night at the OC Fair. Bob Dylan and Spike !

Hope you had a good turnout.

HT

Hottiki, you are everywhere. 2 great bands in one night.

We'll be there tonight... Woohoo!

Wow, thanks for the pics and the promotion, Hottiki.
We had a great turnout! It was an absolute blast!

photo: Riptide

Hopefully a bunch of you can make it tonight.
We had the whole place dancing at the end of the night!

Ive been locked up in my place so long my friends kidnapped me to go see the band . But the parking lots were full even with a handicapped plaque , we ended up going to Trader Sams . I guess the Hula Girls are a bigger draw than Disneyland .

Tonight is the last night of our three night residency at the Fair. It has been so fun playing this thing! There are a bunch of TC buddies coming tonight, so if you can make it, you'll be in good company.

I have some comp tickets left so the first person to email me at [email protected] will get two tickets into the fair! See ya tonight!

Our residency was so much fun at The OC Fair. Friday and Saturday nights were packed with people dancing and give us some great compliments... Sunday ended up being pretty slow......until DONNA showed up. The place exploded with all kinds of people dancing and a million cameras going off.

Thanks to everyone who came out and saw us. We really DO appreciate your support.
And now.... ladies and gentlemen.... Meet Donna

Donna or Donald? which would disqualify that as a actual nip slip.
Where was the SeaHag?

That's too funny! Spike and I were just texting about the sea hag.
