My uncle recently transferred ownership of this gal, who I've named Electra. She's taller thank most lamps you see - she's 52" from top to bottom. Her animated skirt does not work, and I'd like to remedy that - I think the motor is just shot. Any idea of how to get the parts? Also, do you know any of the history of these pieces - who made them, age, etc. Thanks and cheers! |

Sorry she lost her motion. The lamp isn't very old. I would guess early 2000s. There is one almost identical on eBay but it doesn't list the maker. I have a very similar table lamp and there is no maker mark on that either. Mine has a sticker of the who sold it (Aloha Gifts From Hawaii) but I found them online and it doesn't appear they sell motion lamps any longer. The good news is that since it is a newer lamp, finding a replacement motor may not be so difficult. There may be a part number on the motor even. Good luck. |
