Time to start collecting pottery owls then, eh?

I'm due to inherit a Ceramic Chicken collection from my mother inlaw. Chickens got to be more collectable than Owls!

Just had a little eBay deja vu...one of these two auctions does not seem to contain an original description

An update from the police blotter. The scofflaw absconder of original midnite prose has been dealt with, forthwith, and with prejudice. Happens again and I contact my Somoan friends, play a little island hardball.

Person has got to protect that intellectual, did he really say it's "intellectual", property. It's not nice to fool Mother Nature, don't pull on Superman's cape, and DO NOT F%#@ with my work product.

Thanks to all TC'ers that have bid, or are bidding, on midnite auctions. And to those that ain't...come on people, I got 3 ex-wives to support, not to mention my pricey Tourrette's meds.

Tiki Crap, but cheap!

You are probably thinking of the Owl Tree, on the corner of Post and Taylor in San Francisco. It's across the street from Tiki Bob's!

Good Lord! I've spent an eveing in that place!! My wife and I staggered down from The Tonga Room, and went into the first place that caught our gimlet eyes. Indeed, the place is full of damn owls. I ended up talking to a chap who claimed he'd just invented the world's greatest search engine.
(It turned out to be dreadful - think of how easy to use, useful and uncluttered Google is, then think of the opposite of that).

Meanwhile, my rum-soaked wife kept going outside to smoke and dance with tramps (or 'homeless' as some people like to call them). The search engine guy didn't seem to appreciate her joie de vivre, and told me I "should control my bitch". Charming!
