In the spirit of the Christmas season, I will extend the timeline to include up to 8:00pm! Meaning that if you post here on this thread that you are going to see a wonderful FREE show this Friday night at the Catalina Fish Kitchen in Huntington Beach, I will buy you a beer! (Maybe two if I've had a few!)

This will be the last bit of arm-twisting I do. Good food and friends. FREE BEER. AND the Smokin' Menehunes live with special guests!

My but we had a flurry of entries in our Haiku competition. Each one had its own merits, except Ben's, which made it a very difficult decision. However Grog and I based our final decision on the following criteria:
A) Following directions. You know like sticking with the subject matter assigned.
B) Choosing the thread WE thought was the most terrifying. [remember it was "multiple choice (sort of)"]
C) Overall flow of the Haiku when spoken or as experienced by the listener/reader.
D) Spilling ,and punctiation."
E) Winner's ability to be present to buy me that beer.
