Sorry for the delay but here is the final pic!

But first...

Then...

How cool is this felllow?

Very noble I think! I just spotted him, and all his mates, out of the corner of my 'tiki eye'. Hope it was worth the wait?

All the best from Tiki Towers - Trader Jim (Make mine a Mai-Tai!).

SoccerTiki and I spotted this Freaky Tiki at Big Thunder Ranch at Disneyland today?

I think some of you are on drugs.... and I mean that in the best possible way

These two are a stretch, but here goes. First, here's one on our street, that always looked kinda moai-ish to me. This is the only pic I took before the front was remodeled. So the lighting at this time of day might not capture the moai-ish-ness of it too well, but maybe you'll see what I saw...

This next one is really only borderline on-topic, but it's a tiki face in a strange place. Our 2 yr old daughter is at an age where she gets into almost everything. So the other day I turned the page in a magazine I was reading on the dining table, to see this...

Now we're just wondering if the positioning was intentional or accidental!

Lincoln Zephyr trunk area - I almost smashed it with MY GMC - driving and takin zoom photos is a bad idea.

Hard to say...

Most the inbred villagers look like that.

No clues in the dumpster, but we did split up to search the rest of building and basement.

I'm sure we won't get picked off one by one...

I was just out at Baldy Pipe, a famous skate-spot in Upland, California, and amongst the 30+ years of graffiti was a crudely rendered Tiki Mask piece. Sadly, parts had been painted over throughout the years (looks fairly old 10+ years or older) but it was still easily recognizable. Considering that it was a little bit of a hike just to get there, it was a nice surprise.

Containers like this have been posted a few times, but this came with this tag line:

Gasoline-powered Tiki gods responsible for oil crisis

Now it all makes so much sense

Snapped in Tropea, Calabria this week, they made me do a double take after dinner!

"Can" you see um? They became more clearer as the beer was consumed. after this weekend, I got tons of tikis litterin' my pad.

I needed a good laugh today.
Thanks Randy

Clearly two Marquesan faces! Can y'all see the Maori face in profile --a bump in the tree trunk-- outside my kitchen window?:

John Mayer is making a pretty good tiki face

How about a Tiki face in a cool place?

O

salt moai?

yes, a variation on the "container" maoi head.
but this one is a tiki... DAVIDS

We are on vacation and Dan said I must be crazy but I think I saw a Moai head in a advertisement with guys blowing bubbles in a bathtub. After a week I found it on one of my taped shows. It sure looks like a Moai but it's really a towel rack. Wendy

Again, what were these guys "blowing"? The second picture sure is suspicious!

in attempting to repair my clothes dryer, i revealed this Papua New Guinea version of C3PO...

A guy on a guitar forum created a device to bend frets, and this is what it looks like:

Dave and I were driving around checking out yard sales last weekend and as we were going down the road I happen to see this out of the corner of my eye and at the right angle it looked to me to be a Maoi. So I had to go back and take a photo of it.

But now I see the photo was taken to much head on and it doesn't look the same. God, I hope this wasn't a sign of things to come in the near future? I plan I living for ever and walking with the lions. :o But I was really laughing my ass off when I went around the other side of the stone to see what it actually was.. You'll never guess. :D It was Raggedy Ann. :)

Here's some styrofoam I was pitching...

Here is my Styrofoam Tiki.

As we eagerly await the 2009 opening of our local amusement park, WORLDS OF FUN in Kansas City, MO, we have been watching the official website for the latest construction photos of a new 8 million $ wooden coaster named "PROWLER". Here is one of the latest construction photos from atop the ride.
