Thanks for creating this SQUID. We are so thrilled to have added the Artist Alley this year as an official part of the shopping area. I love the idea that people can MEET the artist who make these amazing creations. Oh it would be so great to get some previews of wares here - yes please post ya'll!

For those who will be 'shoppers' (like me!) this area is located behind the stage so make sure to make the full rounds when checking out the vending so you can meet everyone!!

Among other things, I'll have some special übertiki pendants all strung up with beads, shells, and teeth like objects.

I'll also be introducing my new Shell Girl pendant. The bust is hand painted ceramic on a shell, with wood and shell beads.

I have to keep in step with those Pappy Haggler guys! :)

I'm building only 30 of these Yipwan Drum mugs which will be available in Artists Alley...there will be many flavors to choose from. I'm selling them for $75.00 each - when this 30 gone, that's it...I'm taking a hammer to the molds. I'll post some more of these as they come out of the firings. YAY!!!!

I hope to also be slinging a little mud while there...we'll see :)

DANG fine glaze... & ever'thing else!!! I hope I get a job soon so I can make enough money to buy all the cool things I want from my pals in Artist's Alley!

I guess it's high time I started posting some of what I'll be bringing. Problem is, I haven't had the chance to get much done! Chasing a buck and going on job interviews kinda supercedes sweating my ass off outside in 112 degree heat trying to be creative.

However, I've got the dang table in Artist's Alley already, so I better get crackin'! Here's what I've got so far....

Tiki Candles in a variety of colors & scents

This year marks the "Return Of The Big Fish" and a few of his friends...

And then there's this guy...

I originally designed him to hold all eight of Frankie's Tiki Mugs, but I never got around to getting them all, and the project kinda petered out until last week when I picked it up again and finished it today. Here it is loaded up:

I carved the sides as well so there's be a little more going on than just the guys on the front. Each shelf is also carved to look weathered and irregular.

Here it is from across the room:

If I can, I'd like to bang out a few more, but it takes FOREVER to do all the "engineering" of pieces so they fit right, as well as the actual carving, burning, cleaning, and sealing. This might end up being the only one. Time will tell...

O.K., so that's it for now. Don't forget the Carving Hut's gonna be right next to Artist's Alley, and there'll be even more great art being created right there on the spot. Gives me chills to think of all the great talent that will be all together in one spot- awesome!

Pappy here with a Bargin Barn update! I'm a haulin' ass trying to git ready for this shindig and wanted to show y'all some of the stuff you kin buy.

First up we got a porker picnic with a whole mess o' Luau Pigs!

These here is custom pigs by yours truly. Please do not feed these critters!

Next up we got the Freeky Tiki Royal Family. Junior, Queen Momona and King Okole been around since 2002 so it's time to retire. Just 5 sets left! Then there ain't no more, never!

Now I wanna show y'all a little customizin' to the Castaway Spirit Hut mug: (There's more cookin' in the still...)

And speakin' of critters, that Gecko feller (you know, he sells insurance and makes mugs) and I have been collaboratin' somethin' fierce on the Ku Ku Kachoo. But this time I took to whittlin' on a couple of them and glazed 'em up real good.
