That's awesome Rum Dog! I bet it had some really cool Rolling Stones "spy themed" songs in the sound track? Obviously "Brown Sugar" everytime Pam Grier appeared on stage and "Gimme Shelter" is a shoe-in. What about "Fingerprint File","Highwire","Moonlight Mile","Parachute Woman","Rough Justice", etc. |

Bulldog Drummond is not Euro-spy trash !! In Alan Moore's "Black Dossier", he imagines a single fictional universe that contains Bulldog Drummond, the Avenger's Emma Peel, James Bond, and Fireball XL-5 (circa 1958, the literary year of "Dr. No"). In this tale, we get a James Bond, a little more misogynistic than usual... And who gets his clock cleaned by Bulldog Drummond (well at least a few panels worth)... Ok, Back about 8 months ago, fresh off my first trip to T.O., excitement over seeing Mr. Bongo Jack Costanzo, and around the time the spy-theme for '12 was rumored, I floated the name of a TWO of old school musicians still performing that I thought might be a possibility. Looking at the oasis website I see that the headliner for Saturday night is still TOP SECRET. So here's my dream/wish list.
But then tonight it hit me like a ton of bricks! ... .... . / .--. . .-. ..-. --- .-. -- . -.. / .- - / - .... . / .--- --- .... -. / -... .- .-. .-. -.-- / - .-. .. -... ..- - . / .-.. .- ... - / -.-- . .- .-. .-.-.- / ... .... .. .-. .-.. . -.-- / -... .- ... ... . -.-- .-.-.- |

Hey, Are there any agents interested in quadrupling up on a room for Friday night and Saturday night? I'd like to get a "Leisure Room, aka Golf Course View" with Two Queen Beds for $175.00 a night. (that's about 43.75 each per night. We can haggle over the queen beds later.) I'm hoping to be one of the volunteers. I'm looking for agents who don't snore, divulge secrets in their sleep, sleepwalk, or post embarrassing pics of me on Tiki Central. P.M. me if you're interested. Aloha! from the Tiki Oasis website: These rooms are on the north side of the Tiki atrium closest to the back parking lot. The balconies of these rooms look out onto a scenic golf course and river walk. These rooms are usually quiet but can be noisy if you are on the 4 - 8 floor adjacent to party suites. |

...and a bridge related to THAT is The Martini Kings are on the bill at TO12 this year, and Tony of The Martini Kings was in The Plugz. And this song, "Hombre Secreto," was on the Repo Man soundtrack which also featured The Untouchables who do "I Spy For The FBI"! |

Tony of The Martini Kings was in The Plugz? I did not know that! I see he joined in 1980 so that is how I missed this important bit of history "Repoman" soundtrack ***** stars Thanks Otto, I see also you are named after Emilio Estevez character in the movie too |

I never knew that either !! Can we have a Plugz reunion at this year 's Oasis please ?? :) I saw the Plugz once but I don't know if it was the Tony version. I definitely saw the follow-up band Los Cruzados a bunch of times in the mid to late 80's. I don't know why but I find this revelation shocking (but in a good way). |

Mitzi Gayner was a spy in South Pacific. She was instructed by the armed forces to find out about the "French man" in relation to him killing a man. This occurred before she sang "I'm gonna wash that man out of my hair." Mitzi...."so you want me to spy on him?" |

Please scroll past this post if you do not wan't to see Bond in even more Unfortunately that outfit was only the tip of the disturbing Bond image iceberg. In fact about everything in the film was disturbing. This after-school children's special had many inappropriate scenes that slipped past the NBC censors. Here are just a few. Who ever would have thought 007 would suck up to the enemy? Here Bond is distressed over how they over stuff the drug mules. The infamous wedding scene. In the interview in the above pictured magazine Connery stated that he refused to shave his arms or mustache for the wedding scene. The producers demanded, but he refused since it was not written into his contract. Needless to say Hallmark-Hall-of-Fame Productions received a lot of heat over this debacle as several PTA groups from across the country were in an uproar. |

A Secret Agent TV series with 2 unique elements -A Priest who moonlights for the British Secret Service IMDB: Secret Service The Secret Service follows the adventures of Father Stanley Unwin, the parish priest of a rural English village. Affecting the appearance of an eccentric middle-aged cleric, Unwin moonlights as a secret agent for BISHOP, a top-secret arm of British Intelligence (in full, British Intelligence Service Headquarters, Operation Priest) based in Whitehall. Answering to his superior, codenamed "The Bishop", Unwin resides at his vicarage with Matthew Harding – another agent who, when not assisting the Father on his missions, adopts the manner of a simple gardener. Supporting characters include Blake, a junior BISHOP operative, and Mrs Appleby, Unwin's ageing housekeeper, who is unaware of Unwin and Harding's involvement with British Intelligence |
