Oh great you manage to make the seahorses again, they look amazing, love the moais too.Very glad you survived the holocaust :) Go Bowana!!

H

I just love your mugs and I love the colors you use, beautifully done.

We are missing Tiki Oasis this year so we'll be missing you too. Beautiful work always, Wendy

Great to see you again at Oasis
Got mine
:)

B

hang10tiki- Thanks, Jon! Nice seeing you at Oasis. Sorry we didn't get to catch up too much. Busy, busy! Hope you had fun. My dad came on Sunday. I don't think he really gets the Tiki thing, but he digs the car show and the rockabilly music. Hmm.. maybe he does get it after all!

Beachbumz- Great meeting you guys at Oasis, Scott! Looks like you did well! I had trouble not only with the white Amaco glaze, but also the white Duncan glaze (IN1100). I experimented using Amaco LG10 clear on the inside of 3 mugs and got 3 of 3 unbroken. It doesn't make sense, but if it works I'm for sure going to stick with it!

TikiAno- Thanks for buying the first conjoined moai pendant! Great hanging out at TO. I forgot to ask how you resolved your "give everyone free coffee at Comic Con" deal.

swizzle- Thanks, my friend! Keep up your great work too!

Clarita- Gracias, amiga mia! The seahorse holocaust has been long and painful. Pretty sure it's over now though. Saludos!

hiltiki- Thanks for visiting, Hilda! Long time, so see.

danlovestikis- I missed you and Dan too, Wendy!

I've got 3 sea horse mugs available. 1 brown and 2 yellers.
8 1/2" high. $70 each, plus $10 to ship in the US.
PM me if you are interested.

Thanks for stopping by!

Bowie

hi Bowana,
I love your Minimalist Moais! I've never seen anything like that before. Very fun. :)

Sandra

B

Thank you for your visit, Sandra!
PS Agent Panda is cool! Looks like he's had many great adventures.

My newest project is the Space Monkey Mug.
6 1/2" of 1960's JFK Dynamite!

Some Space Monkey features include...

...NASA issue flight cap and Aviators...

...communicator for phoning home...

...and boots that were made for walking (on the moon).

The aim is have an updated and reproducible version of my previous
Space Monkey Mug from 2010.

Thanks for stopping by!

Bowie

H

Ahhhhh..... so fun to see your work, always refreshing and new.

S

Awesome as usual.

Lookin good so far
Glad he can phone home so he doesn't get lost in space
Can't wait to see more

Terrific detail. Are you carving in wax? Wendy

B

Mahaloz, hiltiki, swiz, hang10, and Wendy! Space Monkey (it's a waxy clay, Wendy) is in the shop getting some more work done on him. More on him later...
In the mean time, I made a few custom glazed mugs from some of my other designs.

Such as...

A blue zebra striped seahorse..

..that's something ya don't see very often.

Tribal Skull Minimalist Moai. I tried to keep the design as simple as possible so
it could be read from across a room.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Bowie

Go Bowie!
lovin that blue seahorse!
Always above and beyond!

Two tiki thumbs up

The blue zebra seahorse is one of my favs!!

H

Mahaloz, LLT, hang10tiki, AlohaStation, and hiltiki!

Got some new pieces finished:

Aikane shot glass size muglet. 4" tall, edition of 30.

Little Kahuna shot glass size muglet. 3 3/8" tall, edition of 25.

Here's a shot of them with a familiar Orchids of Hawaii mug for scale.

I also managed to finish up the Space Monkey Mug.
I decided that the arms were too short so I lengthened them.
The more it looks like a monkey, the better!
Truth be told, it's actually an ape, not a monkey.
Monkey is just more fun to say.

That is all for now.
Monkey Mold Making comes next!

Bowie

All look great
Shot and "monkey" are KILLER.............

T

Now THAT's a great ape!

Great work, sir! Wowzers.

Wendy, always a pleasure! Looks like Mahalo Tiki was taking good care of you!

Kinneh, oh you so crazy! Glad you sold so much of your amazing work! I didn't get a chance to come out and see what's new in KennyLand. Maybe a new Tilt-a-Whirl? I heart my paintings I bought from you at 4Wheeler's Chop a million years ago so much!

Bullet, I like seeing you at Oasis because you always look so happy! Glad you got yourself another tikiDAV mug! Hmmm, maybe I should change my name back to that. Seems to be catching on...aahh you guys crack me up...

Thanks for the bump, Jon!
I've been doing a lot of casting of late:
