Got a little more up in the garage

Surfboard shelf I've had for years

And hung this years Eddie poster we got in Waikiki

And I found just the right spot in the bar for my most recent carve
(The one with the fake black pearl eyes)

Great digs. Got to ask where did you get that elongated wood bowl with tiki figures on each end (in front of the lamp)? There are a couple of these in the Bishop Museum in Honolulu. They were used for food serving by the Hawaiian royalty. My theory is this is the turning point for Hawaiians to stop worshiping ki'i (tiki) but to use them as utilitarian art like we do today. A piece like that is top of my list to buy (not an original but some kind of copy). Anybody have a insights on where to purchase one?

Hey Eric did a really fun sign for your tiki room. I like your bird cage. We see those all the time with the seat missing, now I know what they should be used for. Even a lamp from one would be nice.

Per the suggestion of a couple of people on Tiki central
Picked up a basketball net
Stained it
Zip tie the ends
Didn't like the way the top looked
(I'm no Tiki Skip) :)
So I decided to slip bamboo over the top
