Wendy Cevola ceramics to painting. I love doing tiki art.

The False Idol mug was for Chris Curtis and the Ren Clark severed head with red hair was for Chris Mopar. I kept the one with brown hair.

The first mug is Chuck Bradford at his wedding. The Maori Lamp base was for Dan.

When retiring I decided to make things for Dan and I before it was too last. Here are a few more that we kept. I do miss hand carving Tiki Bob's and even these new boxes.

This O2 out Diver's Helmet was made for David Kappadahl.

Doughnut Tiki Bob was made for David Nelms and the Red War God by Jonice Frank was made for David Ray.

Starting a parade of Super Carved Tiki Bob's. I love to carve them, glazing not so much!

I could play with Tiki Bob all day long! Supercarving him is relaxing.

I only made a few mermaid and hula girl bowls. The fogcutter mug was in my favorite glaze Meadow.


Having a bit of trouble getting them to load so they are mixed up in order. But that's OK. A supercarved severed head, Tiki Bob's, Frankoma War Gods sculpted by Joniece Frank, and some coconuts. Psycho Tiki D requested an Urn. It had 8 tikis but I cast 10 so I made him a mug as a gift.

The Hula Tiki Bob set was for Dan and I to keep. Batty Bob was for Jamie Sterling her idea and wish. Then the blue Tiki Bob was a gift for my sister-in-law Janet.

hulachaser, hang10tiki, and Hamo thank you so much for the visit and your comments. My hands ache to make another Tiki Bob but that is now my past. I do get to paint them on request. He sure is a popular fellow. In fact my next painting will have him again.

Robyne Rednock Haas wished for a pink Tiki Bob. Theo Stool wanted two mugs, a small slime creature to go with his Ghost Busters Tiki Bob. This was such a challenge! I did a Tiki Bob Boxes for my husband and myself. Then the last wish was for an O2 out Diver's Helmet for Bob Grill.

Snowboard Tiki Bob was for Vince Simard and then I did an O2 Out Diver's Helmet for him. Then I made one for Dan and I and also a Santa Tiki Bob.

This is the last mug I made before retiring from ceramics. So of course I have kept it. When I knew I was going to retire from ceramics I made 20 Tiki Bob items for Dan and I to use to decorate our home.

I did ceramics with Gecko and Babalu, then on my own for eleven years. Thank you Psycho Tiki D for asking me to make the Sacramento Crawl mugs. Thank you Mick Loterbauer for teaching me how to make molds.

Now it's time to just paint the wishes that have been sent to me. I will keep busy but no more cold garage visits to pour tikis at 6 am. It was a really great run. My husband Dan, he did all the heavy lifting or I could never have done this hobby. I am so in love with him.

I love all my tiki buddies so I'll be here until I'm no longer on this planet!

Thank you Hamo. Dan keeps the house going while I paint. He just has more time for chores now that none of them involve art. I've been so fortunate to have married so well. He's helped me in every way I've needed for almost 44 years of marriage. It's all fun.

2010 2006 2010 2011 tiny pieces of dried paint stuck on canvas 2011 I painted most of this with my left hand because in the middle I fell down the stairs and crushed the bone in my right wrist. I figured out that you paint with your brain so my left hand was able to follow directions. 2011 Little Lost Tiki Ken Ruzic. I sent it to him as a gift. 2012 painted for Tiki Oasis. The theme was Spy and Otto holds the gun. 2012 Painted with mugs by Munktiki stacked as a pole. Required to be in the painting. 2013 painted for the Tiki Oasis Art Show.

This painting was done for Tiki Oasis Arizona 2022 art show. I didn't make it UV sensitive on purpose but when I put the light on it I was happy with the surprise.

This painting was with Wish of Robert and Sue Mitchell. Finished May 2022.
