We had a big week end Kona-Kohala chamber of commerce Design & building EXPO. I made up some prints special for it, and have a few left. These prints are matted, but not framed. … hey go for $100.00 to $120.00 in the Gallery, but I am offering them here for the "EXPO Show" / Tiki-Central Special of $50.00 plus $5.00 Shipping and handling. This is a print of the original drawing that was a study for my painting "Kon-Tiki Dream - Study #1". The out side Matt is 14" x 11" I brushed in high lights with white Acrylic. Gives it a nice "vintage" look. Inside window is 10" x 7" with a nice double Matt. The Kon-Tiki print comes signed, and on the back has a swanky Certificate of Authenticity. T The Certificate gives a short description of what this drawing was a study for - i.e. the painting "Kon-Tiki Dream". I also talk about the name "Kon-Tiki Dream" painting. This Certificate is signed by the artist (dats me). And, jeepers Creepers, this would make a swanky addition of anyone's rumpus room, study, or home Tiki Bar! I take pay pal. This is a reproduction of the original drawing that was a study for my painting "The Menehunes only come out at Night"… it's a study for a Menehune: a "Hawaiian Leprechaun" ...or maybe a "Night Marcher". "The Ghost-Tiki" comes signed, and, on the back it has a important looking Certificate of Authenticity. The Certificate gives a short description of what this drawing was a study for - i.e. "The Menehunes" or "The Night Marchers". I also talk about how it seems "Ghost-Tiki" became the most used design I created that has been tattooed on people who dig my art. This is my big contribution to the world of Tattoos. Really, about once a month I get e-mailed photos of some-one showing off their new tattoo. More often than not it's this little Spooky looking guy! Strange huh? I guess this is the one, real "Under-Ground Kustom Culture" iconic image I've created that has really gotten out into our Tiki-pop-culture in a big way… ...as a tattoo! ...jeepers Creepers! That's a real honor for an artist I think. On the back is a Certificate of Authenticity. This Certificate is signed by the artist (dat's You-know-who). This would make a swanky addition to anyone's "rumpus-room", or a "Man-Cave", or a library of Tiki-Art Books and mugs, and other objects d' Art, or a darned swank home-Tiki-Bar! I take pay pal. I added in "Scaredy Cat", repainted the tiki, lightened the back ground, made a whole new piece of art. The original piece will hang at "La Luz De Jesus Gallery" next year in my July show. Then... I sent the painted skate deck to my printer to see if he could scan it in for future use. He wasn't sure…but tired. ...and Did it! (Hoo-Ray!) Here it is reproduced as a fine Art giclee print on heavy museum weight paper, printed with archival inks, which are fade resistant. "Scaredy Cat & Mister Tiki" 5" x 18" - art image 6" x 20" - Museum heavy weight paper $200.00 (my price, not a gallery price which could run twice to 3 times higher) Signed - Very limited Artist's Proof #1 of only 5.
