Well the artist was Rick Griffin and they are doing a monthlong show of his work there . Its located at 307 Cliff Dr. off PCH in Laguna and I think it opens at 10:00 am. It was my first time seeing Clouseau's live and they are fantastic-what a treat! Here's some pics from the night-some are a little blurry, but then again, so is my memory. Good times. :) Holden our swanky host! TikiTena and Atomikitty in Vend-o-land. The O-So-Stylish Rudy, winner of the unofficial Tiki Bash twist contest! :) Rudy and Cher-high school friends reunited at TikiFarm. . .awww! DJ Jeff W and Adam feelin' those pre-puka dog Mai Tais! Brian shows us how he modeled for this tiki carving. Sabu tries to scare Humu and Atomikitty with his creepy monkey skull necklace. I try to take a nice picture with this tiki. . . . . . Grog, doing his best to get into the next Tiki Ray Pin-Up shoot, shows me how it's done! First student of the Grog school of pin-up modeling. . . :) The lovely Chriss arrives, and Grog is all smiles. Chriss takes her revenge for an earlier Tiki Travis/Bamboo Ben Mai Tai line ass grab incident. :) Everyone is friends again after another Mai Tai. Midnight at the Oasis with Tiki Trav. Brian in his natural habitat. Jamie and Suzy enjoying the atmosphere. Vintage Girl and Atomikitty strike a pose in thier tiki finest! We're ready for our close up now! :) and. . .the last photo of the night. . .good times. :) Mucho Mahalo for letting me vend at this years event. It was a great sucess and I met a lot of great new people. This was my 2nd (the thing at the Egyptian 2 weeks ago was my first) and my first one as a vender.... So I wanted to say Aloha and Mahalo to various folks (or "peeps" as the kids say) Mahalo SQUID...thanx for inviting me to sell my CD's, and HOLDEN for agreeing to it, and putting the T.O. coasters in the goodie bags. AlohaCurrent, BigTikiDude, Tiki Al, Populule...you shred..., Nick and Jon from Tiki Mag, Kevin from the Smokin Menehunes, Kirby,Grog, BarTiki, TikiTrav,Bamboo Ben...great moves on the dance floor during the Dynotones....DJ Lee...always a pleasure.... Of course, Soccer Tiki and WooHooWahine...always great to see you guys. I know there's more, but I'm forgetting...it was along nite. Dynotones, Clouseaux, Populele, and the King...great sets. I got there early and apparently left before things got really crazy, but I still had a great time! Thanks to Holden and all his menehunes for putting together a really terrific party! I'm not going to make any specific thanks here because you know who you are, and I'll probably forget someone! But I do need to make special mention of how happy I am to have finally brought home Kinny's "The Greeting" painting that I've felt was mine since before it was finished! (I don't really need to pay rent next month, do I?! :wink: ) I also had a great time meeting a bunch of people I've interacted with here and on MySpace!
