Tiki Surf City is here!

http://tikioasis.com/

Hey all you Hodads, gremmies, and Surf Betties! It's time to grab your suntan lotion and your board shorts and bikinis and catch a wave of fun in the sun.

We have a musical surfin safari in store for you. Here are a few of the highlights:
The first major West Coast show by King Kukulele & The Friki Tikis, the return of the Kings of Exotic Surf The Blue Hawaiians, the originator of Biker Rock Davie Allan, and guys who were on the scene in 1963 (with the hit "Surfrider" which was later used on a Tarantino soundtrack) The Lively Ones. Did I mention a reunion by The Huntington Cads? Yes, the one and only Huntington Cads featuring artist Shag on guitar and BMX Hall of Famer Jeff Utterback (really) on drums.

Prices for tickets and hotel rooms are the same as they have been for three years. In fact, hotel rates reflect a $10 discount because the Crowne Plaza rates went up but we had our rooms locked in at last year's rate!

We have lots of surprises in store for you too so stay tuned to this thread!

Rollin' in my coupe pullin' my custom woodie teardrop trailer. Debuting at least one new never before seen mug.

I'm really looking forward to attending this. Doing the full tiki road trip from Portland, OR to San Diego. Does anyone know at what age you have to buy a ticket for your child? I looked all over the site, but couldn't find it.

The website looks absolutely awesome...rave on surfers and surfettes!!!

WooHoo! We're booked :)

Send a PM to Otto. He'll get notified of the PM long before he checks this thread again, and he is the man with the answers.

Sorry, didn't see this one right away.

Tiki Oasis has always had the following policy: Kids under 18 are free if accompanied by a guardian.

Dude things are gonna get narly! Im in there like swimwear! Tiki Oasis hands down the most totally bitchinest event of the year. The Blue Hawaiian dudes are total rippers! The Tikiyaki Orchestra charge the biggest waves! King Kukulele has a mean cutback, The Devilettes are hot lava, Martini Kings get some insane hang time on the nose. Thee Swank Bastards get deep in the barrel. All the hard chargers are going to be there to stoke your brains out. This year is going to be boss! Radical times to be had by all!

Wow, Rapa Nui man!!

Any other Canadians heading to this ?

also, a Reunion of The Huntington Cads, w Shag joining them.
Meshugga Beach Party, Pollo Del Mar, Thee Swank Bastards, The Del Reys

this is gonna be an amazing Tiki Oasis for sure.

Helloooo
It's March!

Do you know someone with a Woodie? 60s surfer Car? Dune Buggy?

Then they should be part of the FIRST ever Tiki Oasis car show!! Yup you heard it right - we have a special area set aside for the car show and we even have a pin-up car photoshoot in the works. I am super excited!

Right now I am gathering information from people interested in being part of the car show. Please note we are ONLY having 'surfer' style cars this year! People need to sign an aggreement to be part of the event.

If you or someone you know is interested please send me the car/year etc.

ALOHA!

Kirby has the perfect dune buggy.

as for Woody's, the Wave Crest Woody's car club does a show every Sept. in Encintas (not far from SD) with 300 or more cars.

I would be down to bring the buggy...sounds fun..

Same Location hopefully

lot's of new designs

Including collaborations with... but not limited too

SQUID (ring and pendant)

BIG TOE (Surfer Cross pendants)

HEATHER WATTS (Pendants )

THOR (Pendants)

And blatant knock offs of Clysdalle and Little Lost Tiki unless they submit design ideas soon !!

Really Looking forward to our second Tiki Oasis

See ya

Yes - we have a Manx buggy that we're trying to get ready for this.

B

Thanks all the car ideas coming in already! Just to be clear we do want this years show to be limited to Woodies, Dune Buggys and Surfer cars from the 50's/60's. I am sure next year we will have another theme for the car show so don't be discouraged if your car doesn't fit the theme for this year.

There is no fee to be in the car show (just $12 a day to park your car paid directly to the hotel) Interested folks will need to sign an agreement to get a spot in the car show and get listed as part of the show.

Since this is the first car show at Tiki Oasis, please send me any ideas you have to make sure it is a success. We have some fun ideas in the works but I would love to hear your thoughts!

XOXO Baby Doe

Thank you! I thought I remembered reading that on the site last year, but wasn't able to find it this year. Wanted to make sure before buying tickets.
