Master Tiki Carver

Fixed it for you :)

B
Benzart posted on 10/04/2008

Seeks, I'm surprised you haven't run across a reciprocating handpiece/carver yet.
HERE is the company that makes the best one that I know of so STARTHERE
at the top and work your way down to the Wecheer models HERE
There are many models from a few different makers around so searching google does quite well. The units are mostly weak and not very long-lasting unless you pay for the bigger bucks ones but I can PROMISE you that when you get one in your hand and put it too the wood you will smile for a long time!
GoodInfo
ANOTHER Top of the line models. If I had the bux it would be between this one and the Automach big box and I think Automach would win
This one was SO BADBADBAD they never even put their name on it and took it off the market.
Keep looking and If you find something you like, check for pricing as the $ will vary widely. Also shoot me a pm if you have any more questions. :)

Seek,
Great work, I'm trying a Lono after being inspired by a carver in Maui named Tavita. His web site is friendlyisleswc.com. Picked up a few of his things on a trip there last year. Check out Tucson Tikis stuff too. Great work.
Ciao

YES! This guy is Really enjoying the fanfare, I think the Ancients are playing around with you, Using you to create an Incredible image of themselves and making you prolong the creation because they Love seeing all of us low lifers sitting on the edge of our seats in anticipation of the next tidbit to be thrown out. How ever you/they are doing it, the Tiki is just Beautiful, your skills are way out there man.

You carved through the cracks of your log and this is very ingenuous because after being finished, it will look very ancient.

It was really great meeting you. Your carves have been great inspiration to me. Standing next to your gods inspired me to get back home and carve. I came back from Washington with a bunch of good cedar logs. Thanks again for the two great logs you hooked me up with. I will return the favor one day. It sure is nice and warm here compared to WA. I now know for certain why I moved.

working on the chevrons.
