Not much going on today so I'm gonna try this The Celebrities in a Peacock Chair thread if you're not familiar with the chair then please see Whaddaya call those Big Round Wicker Chairs?

I still call them a 7-up Guy Chair but let's give this a try, Celebrities in the chair, not your pets or family members and try to not to post anything that's already been posted before in this thread. Try to keep your posts to just a few pictures at a time, keep the chatter to a minimum and hopefully this will be fun and will fill up fast.

I'll start it off with these guys -

A little nicer on the eyes.

Marilyn Monroe.

Zsa Zsa Gabor.

Donn and Vic in their native habitat.

Robert Plant. . .

Brigitte Bardot!

That's Norma Talmadge.

I grew up calling these chairs "Morticia Addams chairs." Are they really called "Peacock chairs?"

I remember, as a kid, seeing them for sale at a Pier One Imports store - these chairs are certainly iconic. There still may be room for one in my house, I'm gonna give that some thought...

Jack Lord

Katharine Hepburn

Charlie Chaplin

I think we’re good on Trader Vic, Al Green and Brigitte Bardot moving forward and I’d argue (and win) that the Sharon Tate chairs aren’t really what we’re looking for but they can stay.

How about some spicy Italians -

Claudia Cardinale

Gina Lollobrigida

Monica Vitti

Ha.. He's a celebrity to me.. Tiki celebrity... and a very cool brada..

I know it has been determined we have reached the Peacock Vic saturation point, but I'll repost this illustrated pic just to ask a question:

Has anybody else ever thought that Vic illo looked like it could have come right out of a story board for a Rankin and Bass animated feature?

I don't think anybody has posted Marc Bolan yet:
