Wednesdays at Forbidden Island

I'll probably drop in for a drink, but I do have something else I need to do that same evening, so not sure when I'll get there.

I'll be dropping in tonight - I know, hard to believe! Probably on the later side, after I finish up some Christmas shopping.

Anybody going tonight? Notch and I are heading up shortly.

Is it Wednsday already? Gheesh, my liver is still recovering from ringing in the New Year. Aw, what the hell, anyone up for starting the New Year on the right (or wrong) track, and going to Forbidden Island tonight? Who's thirsty?

I think the answer to that is yes. Amazingly, I slept through it all. Party at Casa de Mai Tai's and Coco Loco doesn't even know it. ;-D Hope everyone had fun. Yes, our house guest made it to his appt on time. :)

Okay, I know it's only Tuesday, but I spent the afternoon at the dentist's office and could really use a painkiller right about now! I'll be headed over to FI around 6:00-6:30 tonight. Who's with me?!

Regret to say that there's no "grandfathering" in on rums already drank- just no way to keep track.

Last night the I started the journey to the end of the Kill-Devil Club checklists...I figured I might as well start with at the top of the top shelf rums. So, Otto and I each ordered the El Dorado Demerara 25 year rum. It was so smoooooooth!

Ah, you hear it too Martiki. I have heard the call of the Navy Rum since Monday and am bringing a van full of tiki-folks up to Forbidden Island tonight to answer the call of rum. I personally will be answering the call of the Navy Rum!

Notch, Tai Won On, Dr. Von Zombie, Bamboo Ben and myself should be rolling in around 8:30-ish.

I'll be heading over there in just a bit. Team Midnite should be there soon, and I'll roll in around 6pm or so, with gift card and Kill-Devil list in hand.

Hail Hail, the gang's all here! Good times last night at Forbidden Island. Team Midnite wandered out first, and hung out with Rumrunner Paul. Coco Loco and I arrived soon after, and then the Tikitastic Express rolled in with Notch, Tai Won On, Dr. Von Zombie, and long distance traveller Bamboo Ben! Within a few minutes Hanford was there, and so was Rebecca, and JenTiki, then The Jab showed up, and all hell broke loose! Lots of non TC locals were representin' as well! I finally got my new camera set up on my laptop, so here are some pics of last night's shenanigans.

Psych! I was barefoot at home last night. Will be there tonight for rum & chocolate shenanigans.

I only have one or two Rum & Choco tix left, but plenty of a really nice 75% cacao dark chocolate left if you just want to have that with the rum of your choice.
