WHY? BTD, WHY?

Didn't we talk about these kinds of posts before?

Bamboo Ben is one of the ICONS of tiki culture here in california. He has done more for tiki then most of us ever will.

I will be there. The last boo-party was so much fun!!

T.V. Party Tonight!! I love Beer!! I am ready to ROCK!!

I know Btd, and he is a nice guy. He is just one of these people who don't think before pressing "submit".

Actually, Jeff, a good peace offering would be to show up with a jug full of Mai Tais and share with the Ohana :)

There

Exotiki will also be performing.... can't wait!!!

We will also be enjoying the BEER!

Maybe everyone should bring a bottle of their favorite booze and mixes too (since there are people who can't hang with a good ol' fashioned kegger! j/k BTD  )

Sweet.. I've never been to Bamboo Ben's and if that wasn't motivation enough, now there will be great music too? Awesome, my calendar is marked.

I'm cutting this day out of the calendar and framing it......after I get some carving done!!

I love it....

everyday I drive by Ben's on Yorktown on my way home from surfing. ...used to live in HB.... now we live in Garbage Grove... I can't wait to be part of this great event!

Seriously.. can we all put in for a second (or 3rd) Keg? Cocktails would be great.. but more Beer would be great too! (One keg will go FAST!)

I've got the first $60 on the next keg....

Also can I bring a tiki mug to drink my beer out of...!?!
And I will also pitch in for another keg as long as it's not Buttwiper, sorry Ben but howabout some Kona...?

Hey Dartin.... how much are kegs of Newcastle these days?

Tiki Shaker wrote:

I was wondering the same thing. Honestly, I have no idea.

Sounds delicious though.... although horribly 'un-Tiki' ....

Can't believe I wasted over a half hour reading that thread Ben linked... what a bunch of blow-hard BS....

I'll pitch in - I love beer!

Kiki von Tiki wrote:

Alright!

Keg of Newcastle is getting closer....

I'd pitch in on a Keg of Newcastle.
But I have a feeling I'm not welcome at this party.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Dont quote me but The Keg place (Im pretty sure thats the name..Beach Blvd in HB) had kegs of Newcastle for just under 200 bux..Like 185 or so..

Dartin stick with pabst..Hell they'll pay you to take it off their hands!!!!

You keep drinking that expensive exotic stuff you'll probably stop slapping and become a proper bow upright player..!!!!!!

haha I don't like Pabst on tap. Only in can or bottle.

I still have a tap from Mr. Keg from about 10 years ago somewhere in my house...I should find it before May 3rd.

Also, Slapbass, do you have a bass bow for sale?

S

HAHAHA...Sure do..Its right next to my pristine 56 Kay M-1B

[ Edited by: slapbass 2009-01-26 14:10 ]

Pabst? Ouch, that stuff is pretty tough for me to handle. In my range of beer, Newcastle is on my lighter side. I like beer dark and thick. If you can stick a fork in it and have it stand up.. it's worth drinking!

Plus May is still many months away... I say saving up for Newcastle is worth it!
