Great work Skip. I have a few small table lamps in my home bar. I use them to cast a warm glow in different areas. They work great to set a mood and light small areas of artifacts and help folks find a spot to set a cocktail. Keep up the great work. |

Skip-love the new lights. The large fish float looks exceptionally amazing. The interior float looks like it has both a frosted and hammered appearance. Did you find it that way or has it been modified? I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. |

Well there is not a true answer for that one. Not much of what I use comes from a store I can say. Go here. You can get rope anywhere really. So you go look for rope but find cork. If I did nothing but made lights 10 hours a day for years I don't think I could use up all the crap Got some rope here for $60.00 bucks three spools. I've read this thread before and have commented on it before as well, but since i started making my own lights i went back and looked at every page again last night. Some seriously amazing work here Skip. Such a huge variety of pieces and your rope work on the floats is just incredible. That's something i'll have to tackle myself one day but even when i do, it's going to take a LOT of practice to get anywhere near the quality of your work. |
