Sounds like its going to be a good chance to see a lot of cool creations, and meet a lot of cool people! The pin-up girls will be pretty easy on the eyes, too! My band intends to bring all of you to Waikiki, circa 1961 with our special authentic Hawaiian swing! We got SQUID on the drums, and if you have not heard this guy play, prepare to get blown away! He is like Neil Peart mixed with Shelley Manne....absolutely outstanding! We have jammmed with him before. The first time was at the Tiki Terror's exhibit in Encino, and most recently at the Catalina kitchen.

But the first time he set up and played with us, he did not know the songs. Did'nt seem to matter. He played everything like he was making a record. The perfect splash here, the awesome crash there. It was like watching a zen master dropped in a barrel full of live eels. The guy is just scary good. I was watching him switch from sticks to mallets for the radical cymbal role, almost at the speed of light. I kept on hearing these funny sound effects, whistles, gongs, what-not..I even thought I was hearing Indonesian gamelans at one point. I actually want to have his babies. Little squids, I guess.
