Nice slit drum. Heck looked good too with just the face. Minimal. I believe the PNG's would burn out the centers. Not sure how they did it though. |

Very clean! You could probably drill it out from underneath then put a wood plug in the bottom? |

Dang, Jon, just got caught up- dig that Kapu carve- very fluid from bottom- and impressive letter carving. As you know, I'm not a huge fan of Disney stuff (might say some of their stuff is "kapu," but your carve is epic. Great job! |

Good Job Man You may wanna consider taking a wire brush and lightly scrub the entire thing down. Then a very thin, light coat of dark brown over it to get into the areas the brush removed. Will give it an older weathered look and not so new and fresh... Just a thought. Erich |

WOW WOW WOW, how funny to read this today. Dan just said he wanted to put our tacky tourist tikis outside to age them and I said let's spray paint time and wire brush them. This tiki is so wonderful. I have 3 black velvets to do based on these tikis for the Wish List. Now we all want your tiki too! Good job. I love it. Wendy |
