Wendy- here we go

Kotiate is a type of traditional hand weapon of the Maori,
the indigenous people of New Zealand.
A Kotiate is a short club normally made of wood or
whalebone. Kotiate means to cut or divide the liver,
is probably taken from its shape, which resembles
the lobed part of the human liver.

Fresh out of whalebone, but, have wood.

You have such a unique and fun body of work. It's so much fun to have TC back up so I can review your prior works too. Doing one scale at a time on those snake walking sticks took so much dedication. Each one is a wow.

The last HUGE tiki is a master work. The wood dust photo was fun to see too. Thank you for all the fun photos. I'm happy I have a couple of pieces that you have done. Cheers, Wendy
