Hi Wendy So a friend gave me two old bats for carving. They were rough, and by rough I mean they were never sanded or finished, you had to wear gloves to carry them, or you would get splinters. So I fixed one up for him, put his last name on it, sanded it to 3000 grit and finished it with Howard feed and wax.

Hi Wendy, thanks for the comments, yes, the squatter will be joining my army. Hopefully, I don’t see them marching down the hallway, one day. So the cabinet in my tiki room needs two more door pulls, sticking with the Rapa Nui theme, I started working on a Reimiro, hopefully this works. I’m not sure if I will mount just one side, or end up cutting it in half to mount both sides, time will tell.

Oh, I love anything with those Easter Island birds. This is going to be wonderful because it looks good already. Cutting it in half would sure make them a set. If you did a supersized version for your backyard, you would have a tetter totter! |
